I'm getting 2*512mb sticks of this stuff from a friend cheap. He says it's cas3 crap. Anybody got any ideas on how good it'll do on a P4C800 deluxe with a P4 2.6C?

My 2*256mb sticks of twinmos PC3200 BH5's does 230 max @ 1:1 with 2-3-2-6 Turbo max vdimm and 275 @ 5:4 with same settings.

What's the verdict with the HyperX? Anybody using this HyperX ram in their setup? Like to get some info on it's results as far as performance.

Thanx!~

It will get you a higher FSB but overall performance will be lower...

I think its better to change. Coze your TwinMos looks like very very bad. And w/ some volts you can probably do 2.5-3-3-7;)

I bought a couple of 512 sticks to try, it was junk. 2.5-3-3 at it's rated speed, anything higher you had to drop it to 3-4-4 And then it still wouldnt make it to 250fsb 1:1.

Well, found out it ain't PC3700 as he said, it PC3500  Not sure if they're BH5's. He's had them for quite a while. It's en route so we'll see. I'm praying I don't have to take off the heatspreaders to find out.
