hi,

i was playing wit clockgen
and for some reason each time i tried changing the multiplier the system froze?
n was forced to reboot
when i did the multplier was set to what i tried to set it on b4 it froze even witout clockgen being open?...

i couldnt even reach 240mhz fsb even wit 4x multiplier
video kept currupting...

i than set agp to 4x and i could reach 250mhz b4 system froze...
ghetto

i thought agp was locked on shuttle AN50R?

last time i tried setting to 4x again
system froze so i reboot. when i did it never posted again.
it went to a endless rebooting cycle. never posting.

i tried changing ram and resetting cmos still no go
removed all components leavin' only basic and still no go

my agp card is fine as i'm usin it atm on my p4 2.66ghz

time to goto post office n ship this off to newegg

dont know which one is having problems as i only have one of each

you got a 300 MHz OC and in my opinion a normal overclock...especially if you look at the OCs they get in reviews.
Your board is fine probably.

Did you change the multi up or down with clockgen?

"user error", lol

GL hope you get your cpu and mobo back and it works fine next tiem around

this is what I was wondering. I don't see how clockgen could have killed it.

So the board work great at first, then it turned in to a bad board??

no mods at all to the board??

Man newegg must have a Monster RMA department, just going by the few forums i visit.

But good luck with your next one. You should do what i do. Order 2 MB's from the door. You should see my Dead collection!!!
