A friend of mine asked me to make up a sys for him and heres the specs:
P4 2.6c
Abit IS7-E
Twinmos 3200 2x256 ram
Chenbro case and 350w psu
Radeon 9800Xt 256
Anywho's ,im not too familiar with the overclocking on these yet,(the dividers) and as for the onboard sound and networking, what do i have to do for the sys to recognize all this,do i have to go into network neighbourhood for the onboard networking for example,or just make sure its enabled in the BIOS?

2.4C is a better choice(overclocking).

best cpu/memory ratio is 5:4, it keeps ram running at rated speed for stability.

best ram timings is 2-2-6-2.

urgent help..

Made up my mates comp today..all was smooth until it starts to load windows(and its windows ME,dont laugh)
Anywho's the hard drives recognized, the Cd ROM etc ,but as it was loading for the first time it started to reinstall the windows drivers,no surprises there, but when it gets to loading 'PCI to ISA bridge 'it locks and will not continue, its in safe mode and the keyboard wont input either. We're just stuck there.
Ive also restarted it and scan disk starts up too,so i dont think the hard drives the problem..or any other of the components.
The keyboards Ok in the BIOS enviroment and is connected by USB,but like i said, will not input at the afore mentioned driver install.
Please help guys,
Matt.

Have you enable the USB controller in the bios yet? if you haven't, do that. There is an option where you can set the keyboard to either bios or os, right there is when you want to set the keyboard or mouse to bios for using USB keyboard/mouse in DOS environment. Hope this help.
