I know its a little off topic but if you plan on getting a new cpu now, wait for Prescott or at least until Intel drops the price on the NW's.

I think that it's M0.

P4 3.2C with M0 stepping does not exist.
Only stepping available for 3.2C is D1.
Mine runs fine @ 4.2GHz with 1.775V with stock Mach2.
macci made r404 mod for my prommy, but I cant test it because I lost heatspreader and cant get it back properly :(

The 3.2c's are all bined. Anyone will do fine.
I too suggest you wait. Prescott is comming out on feb 2nd and If you have enough $ for a 3.2c you will have enough for a prescott 3.4 -- $420 something like that.
Prescott will work on the standard sckt 478 mbs. If you dont want to get one just wait until the prescott release because there will be a price drop.

3.2 M0 = EE = $1000
Wait a couple weeks and get a 3.2P.

Malaysian, from week 40 / 2003.
Nice results in vapo classic. Take it to A/C repairshop, and make them change r404 gas in it and and add some captube. After that you´ll have Vapo XE and couple hundred MHz more :toast:

I don't think steppings are the biggest concern. If I were buying a 3.2C, I'd be more concerned about the week of the core. I'd look for something week 40 or earlier, as the 3.4C's are week 42ish (assuming the 3.4C's are indeed D1 stepping chips and not M0s).
Intel likely used the top P4 chips up until that point for the 3.2C, and afterward, began using the top yield chips for the 3.4C instead to build up supply, using lesser chips for 3.2C.
My $0.02...:)
