Hi,
Im going to get either a Vapochill PE or a Vapo Classic, and mounting it in my lian-li PC70.
Which of these two would be best?
I like the way the Classic has the Rad at the back avoiding and ugly grill in the drive bays.
Also, is the Vapo Classic compatible with the chillcontrol units? dont know if they use them or not :/

it's good to see you're doing your research matskiosaurus
I'd vote for a PE over the Classic due to the cooling performance
Cheers

Think i'll opt for the PE.

Not only is it a better performer, but it also still has support from asetek. I dont know if this makes any difference to you, but things like that give me a little bit more peace of mind.

Get vapo classic / standard, take it to nearest a/c repair shop, and make them fill it with R404 and and add some captube. The you have pure Vapo XE :D

But apparently the PE gets colder when modded to 404a? Although it has startup problems because of the compressor size or something? I'm getting my vapo 404 modded anyway when i get one :)

Vapo PE isnt working properly with R404. If you want to mod your vapo, get Vapo Standard...

I was under the impression that it did work with 404, but there was just reset issues?
Are the any more serious problems i should be aware of?
Thanks

It works, You need a real good PS, and no hot starts, as in turning it off and right back on sometimes doesnt go.
To much pressure in the cylinder

Ahhh i see, well i have an Antec trueblue 480watt PSU, only 2 hdd's running off it and a 9800 pro, so its got it pretty good atm.
About the no hot starts, does this mean you have too leave it for about 30 - 40 mins when your restart?
