Hey guys!

i have and amd 2500+@2400mhz right now watercooled but im not quite satisfied so im thinking of buying an Intel mainboard and Cpu. Now the problems are these:

1. is it better to buy a P4 2.4 or p2.6 for overclocking. How much
would i be able to overclock it do you guys think.

2. How should i choose my cpu for the best overclocking c
chanse? something about stepping?

3.Is abit IC7-max 3 better or Asus p4c400-E deluxe a better
mainboard.concidering the FSB and the voltage settings.

Thanks guys! :)

the 2.4 w/ P4C800 dlx. the 2.4 should NORMALY do 300FSB(3600) on watercooling.

well dude prescoit have problem with heat and besides that they are expensive as hell. intel is going to lower the p4 prices like $50 so it wil be woth buying one anyway. its faster than my amd suker. By the way whaats upp with the p 2.3 C?? what is "C"??

they stand for the FSB speed.

A=400mhz (100)
B=533mhz (133)
C=800mhz (200)

the WC you have will dont bother the heat, and its not expensive!!!!! 280$ for a 3.2 that OC like 4GHz(prooved) on air cooling at 1.575 Vc!!!
