I've heard about it but I dont really know what it is. Is it where the AGP lock screws up? I'm looking to go Intel(again :p: ) but I cant afford anything over a 2.6C and if I dont even have a chance at 4ghz I wont be a happy camper.

First, 4GHz w/2.6C is HARD, but if you can pick a good chip and w/ your chiller you CAN do it(not will;)).

The 300FSB is the BIOS have difficulty to handle a high FSB like that, so you have to use the clockgen to bring your CPU to 301FSB+++.

Sometimes some mobo handle them, but still rare

Sheeeet I wish i can hit the 300FSB with my 2.6C. Stuck at 275  If you get 300FSB with a 2.6C, i'll bear your children afi :D

You have a shot at 300+ FSB with -18C water...but it'll take some luck...more than usual since it's harder to find good 2.6Cs than some of the others...good luck:toast:

You will need clockgen above 301FSb and cannot use HDs on the ICHR5.

I'd go for a 2.4C than :p If I need a PCI IDE card than well screw it I'd be better off going A64. That card is the reason I'm not going A64...
