View Full Version : new mach2 arrived
finally got a new unit to replace the one that broke twice and its currently humming along at -56 evap temps at idle with a p4 2.8c at 4067mhz and 1.73v, which is colder than i ever saw the other unit get even when it was working so maybe this one is charged slightly better than the other. all seems to be working good so far.
hopefully the sensor on this one doesnt drop dead like the last two.

Good to hear :)
not sure if this has been done before in this way but the screenshot below shows my mach2, no mods at all, case closed, just the fans on max. With my 2.8c at 4064mhz at 1.74v actual on my P4C. No cpu disconnect or any of that rubbish, just plain idle (and the evap is properly connected to the cpu as its showing -30 to -31 in mbm idle and -7 under load). Looks damn good to me.

Ewok can I ask m8, did cpucity replace that unit for you? Would be handy to know if mine goes again...not that I even have it back of nventiv yet..
no i had to complain to nventiv AND cpucity several times and basically told them i cant afford to be without the pc and eventually nventiv sent an email saying after all the problems ive had they would send me a new unit and i could then send them the faulty one.
impressed with this one, right now its at -58c with the same spec as mentioned above except the fans are only on normal this time!
also forgot to mention above that both heaters are ON.

mine does the same thing, our temps are still way off, u know that right? mine hits -69 with both heaters off at 3G idle with normal fan speeds. but my board doesnt like its temps in the BIOS nor does MBM (both say -112 C), i see it flash once a while at -40, so thats the actual temp.
