p4p800 Vm good oc

p4p800 Vm , i would like to buy this mobo it's an p4p 800 deluxe but without raid...

i was wondering if this is a good oc mobo

It's actually a mini atx p4p800 with the 865ge chipset. That's with graphics onboard. I'd only get it if you're searching for a mini atx board.

i'm buying this with a 2.4C secondhanded

it is supposed to get 3.3ghz out of the 2.4c with tha mobo on 1.625V

i read that the p4p800 deluxe is a good board cause it ha's pat, but not as fast as the p4c800deluxe

and tha the p4p800vm is just a smaller version of the p4p800deluxe without raid and other extra's but that is oc's just the same

is this true

The p4p800vm can't be overclocked. Just get the regular P4P800 non delux

what he said, you will be happier with the p4p800D, i had it for a week or so and had my p4 2.4 @ 3.4 it was nice.

I can be. By using clockgen.

Richbastard had this mobo, and I had it. It's as stable and powerfull as the p4p800 (deluxe), only difference, no FSB/ high voltage options in bios.
Vddr voltage can be set to 2.65 i tought.

I've used it in combination with a 2.6 C, and I was able to get it up to 255 fsb, cpu limited.

Not a board for extreme overclocking, I admit that, but if you're a regular user who wants to sqeeze a little bit more power out of your system, this wil do.

And its WAY!!! better to take P4P800. the P4P800vm dont have AI and dont OC.

this board cant be OCed coze of the graphic onboard. The graphic just mess up when you try to use clockgen and you dont have the option in the BIOS.
