The same companies that manufacture the pipe insulation manufacture the sheet insulation. You might want to note the brand and contact the manufacturer. Ask them who might sell it in your area.

Also, the people who sell the pipe insulation can order sheet insulation for you.

We get promotional mouse mats in at work, can also get them for about £0.50 if you look around. Ive got 16 mouse mats here, took the top layer off and they are ideal.

cant seem to find neoprene...?

I know its used in diving suits but i am not back in greece where i could get some for free ;)...

So would a mousemat do the job OK for my mach 2 backplate?Do i just have to cut it in size?Last time i had condensation issues it was in the backplate of the mobo...

marci, do you know exactly how much of that neoprene is included in a pack? "One pack contains enough to seal your CPU TEC and GPU TEC" isn't like all that precise an explanation ;)

i'd rather have the real dimensions and the number of pads.

For the back of your motherboard a layer or two of mousepad will be fine.

The harder stuff to get hold of is thinner neoprene, for under TEC's and stuff..

Just in the interests of competition you can also get it in the UK here.

If you want thin neoprene, you can get it here;

http://www.mutr.co.uk/prodDetail.aspx?prodID=543

82p a sheet and delivery is £2.50

You can get this stuff probably in any art store. I found it in an art store near where I stay.

Why would anyone want thinner insulation? More is better, and lots more is lots better.

Heat is the enemy. Insulation is our friend. :D

er... no... you can't... not anymore... they're closed now, hence no "buy now" buttons anywhere. Sorry d00d...!

The pack contains:
5"x5" sheets, 5 of, in 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", 3/8" thicknesses.

As he said, for between the TECs and to make a shim for the top of the processor as you obviously cant fit a thick piece of neophrene there.
