View Full Version : P4P800 dlx?? non dlx and P4G800???

hey

Im buying a ASUS 865. But i dont know which one to take, i dont need RAID, sata, LAN, so i think the dlx is out. Im wondering if the P4G800 is perfing as the P4P800(P4G is cheaper). which one should you recommend???

If you don't need all those options why don't you just get an IS7-E?

What's the P4G? Can't find anything about it on ASUS' site.
I only know the P4C (875) and P4P (865).

I would also recomend IS7 cos it has PAT working with 5/4 divider also. If I had to buy another mobo it would be my choise (for P4 atleast:D ) Not as easily modded as P4P (not sure tough) but with vMem and VDD mods it should preform quite nicely.

P4G800 is graphique integrated 865 chipset. But its cheaper

I think i will go for the P4P800, the graphique intergrated dont have ASUS AI.

BTW: I really whant an ASUS, not an abit. I dont know why, but i dont really love abit

good choice, all Asus P4 boards are prescott ready.

And still they have very high voltage loss compared to some other boards. But still they seem to preform really well after mods are installed so go figure....And you can always mod your PSU to have higher rails to compensate the power loss.
