Anyway, long story short, I'm hoping that my new dfi lanparty rev.b coming tomorrw will get my rig back on it's feet.
But what I'm wondering, is if I'll need to reinstall the ATI cat's drivers, since I'm coming up from a 9700pro. My understanding of the cat. drivers for the radeon series, is that the radeon package contains all the drivers for the radeon series, so effectively I shouldn't have to manually reinstall anything.
So if someone could let me know about that, when I get this thing running again, I'm going for 20k...With my 9700pro, I only got to 18.5k.......Granted this was with the detail settings up pretty high, but then I'm a gamer, so looking pretty is part of the goodness. :)
