Been thinking about making a A64 system using a 3000+ probably, just cant decide on a motherboard

Asus K8V-Deluxe or Gigabyte GA-K8N or ???

Curious which board people have been finding the most stable and best all round. Thanks

Between those 2, I would pick the Asus any day.

Now, given that these carry the Via chipset, why don't you consider the Shuttle AN50R I wonder?

Is the Shuttle still a fullsize board or does it come in the small form factor like most other shuttle products?

To be honest I didnt know that shuttle had one out yet, I just was browsing a local dealer and those were the only two board thats were listed.

It's just a nice normal big motherboard.

shuttle has made boards for a long time. their new niche of the SFF boxes has gotten them a bit more respect and press. they are a good company. i have 4 rigs that run on shuttle boards, about to be 5.

Sorry, I never actually went to Shuttles website before I just figured it was all the SFF type stuff... By the sounds of it that board is just what I need. Now to find a local retailer that either carries it or can get me one... Thanks all

But I am a Canadian eh!

End up costing an arm and a leg by the time you add in duties and everything else... See if some dealer in Canada can get me one save some $$$ possibly.
