Im a bit new to this and I was wondering if I could achieve this running stable. Im new to this overclocking and I just want to start slow and see what I can learn first.
Any suggestion before I do the OC would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys:cool:

220 should be no problem with with decent air cooling. My A64-3200 ran stable 24\7 at that speed.

so by decent cooling do you mean buying another HSF or just using the stock? kunaak recommended me the Zalman 7000 something HSF on another forum but I am still wondering if its worth my buying just for 20FSB.

The stock hsf should be fine for a 20mhz overclock..... but do watch your temp just in case......

Mine managed 240mhz on stock air 1.7vcore 100% stable...ambient temp at +18C
So 220 should be no problem.
However I do suggest to lapp down the heatsink....because the surface is an awful mess....or atleast mine was.
And also it woulsn´t hurt to change the fan to.... otherwise the heatsink it self is just fine.

lapping is taking extremely fine sandpaper-like 400 and above, and sanding the surface of the heatsink so it's smoother.
you typically work from one fine sandpaper to the next.
I use 400 to 1200.
