I am having a really irritating prob right now. After installing My nf7 in my new case, the little red LED wont light up. the LED blinks. It wont start unless it is solid. The only way i can get it to turn solid red is to have the power supply on, and then plug the ATX cord into the mobo. The mobo then starts "bliping", meaning in turns on and off very quickly for about 10seconds. Then it turn off and the LED is solid red. Every time I turn off the power supply, i have to un-plug and then plug the ATX cord back in.
why?

Its probably a power supply problem. But just out of curiosity did you plug in the smaller 4 pin 12v plug?

yeah bro, ur definately having a power issue. Ive NEVER seen that LED go on then off or blink or anything. If the its is connected to the ATX on the MOBO, and the PSU is on, so should the red LED. When the PSU is turned off (via the l/O switch), then the LED is, or should be, off.

When you turn on the NF7, it will turn on a GREEN LED that is next to thr RED LED.

ya, its just very hard to turn on that mobo with the PSU. Its possible, but then i get random reboots. would the Overvolt protection on the PSu cause it? My 3.3 was at 3.8, so would that cause a prob? never has before. and my mobo works fine with a generic psu.

what psu should I buy for about $50? I can buy another Fortron auroroa 350, an antec SL350 blue, or an "AeroCool 370w aero power II green LED"

I wouldnt spend 50$ on a new one...50$ psu's=crap...get a 430w truepower or 480w truepower for like 75 and it will be much better than the other psu's...and will last longer.
