Ok i have a ASUS A7N8X-X mobo, AMD Athlon XP 3200, GeForce FX 5600 256mb 8X AGP, 1 gig of PC3200 ram......

Well....this CPU is suppose to be a 400mhz fsb, in bios it tells me that it is 200mhz FSB with a 11x mulitplier.....

I have heard conflicting stories from different people about why it may do this or if that is actually the way it is suppose to be. Also, my Memory is in single channel mode...what can i do to change it to Dual Channel..

Someone who really knows thismobo please help me optomize it

Its 400mhz double pumped. 200 FSB is really stock. And for DC ram you gota set it up the way the manuel says...

200 = 400.. just pretend is algebra.. 200x = 400fsb..mmmmk? gonna have a hard time getting 20k 3dmarks with a 5600, most likely an impossible time... its liek 15k card. 18k is highest with the ultra...good luck...=)

Yea this is truly not making any sense.....

here let me set this up so everyone can see :

ASUS A7N8X-X Mobo
AMD Athlon xp 3500+
GeForce FX 5600 XT
(2) 512 MB Pc3200 DDR ram

With that setup no matter what there should be nothing holding me sooo low in 3d mark.makes no sense

5600XT is the budget version of 5600. Crap, to be honest.

Everything I have read about it online says it has dual channel. I just have no idea how to run it like that
