I called up Abit RMA and asked if having heatsinks epoxied on to my board for RMA would be a problem, and the dude (who spoke perfect English) told me it shouldn't be an issue. Cool!
Just wanted to let people know that the Abit RMA people are really liberal with their RMA policy.

Well:
1:the newer NF7s dont like BH5
2:I kinda threw the NB cooler away
Would they still take it? Do I pay for anything besides shipping?

My NF7 died, and they've been dicks throughout the whole thing.

They told me the same thing over the phone but could not get them to say it over email (so i'd have some proof). After argueing with them for a while I got it in email. They say its ok at add sinks to the board but you cant change the stock NB cooler.

I know it's been said a thousand times or more already, but if you screw your board through carelessness or even by accident, that's your lookout, you shouldn't be RMAing that.
There's an old carpenter's saying that is VERY applicable here;
"Measure twice, cut once."
an abit RMA prolly depends on the persons you're dealing with. a friend RMA'ed his board, it was okay to have dielectric grease in the board. they brought his new board and picked up the dead one.
he had to pay his board anyway because of "user abuse". that's pretty nasty how they do it, if they reject the RMA they make money because I don't think you can send the 'new' board back
