Well my new hyper X 3500 CH5 fails memtest at stock speeds. But anyway I have an infinity and I want to get ram that has all the chips aligned on one side because in bios 12-31, the function that makes possible high fsbs for double sided sticks really hurts my systems performance and looks like I need new ram anyway.

Anyways, any corsair or OCZ etc. single sided 3200 or 3500? Mushkin Black level 2 is expensive and I've had enough of Hyper X for the moment, but would try more CH5.

I am really thinking my ram is the problem. It fails memtest #5 at 230 fsb at 2.8v but not at 3.1v. In system, 200 isn't stable at 2.8v, but with 3.1v it is. Thinking real crappy sticks that need a ton of volts just to do 200. I can get good 3dmark runs at 230 fsb but looping it drops to desktop at speeds my cpu is good for. Cant seem to get system stable even at 200 without the high vddr.

have you tried running your ram with out it being in dual channel mode?
