Jelly: not transparent, its fruit with sugar and thickeners added, seeds and other solids removed, used for breakfast among other things, often spread on toasted bread.

Preserves: Similar to Jelly except seeds and mashed fruit remains.

Peanut butter is just peanuts ground extremely fine, into a paste like form.... GOOD STUFF...

BTW, Whole Foods crunchy or Trader Joe's crunchy (unsalted -- the salted one is over the top) PB is the best. I can't handle the regular store brands.
