6 world F1 championships
Just think if he had put that talent into placing on the Orb!
I bet his poor parents wonder where they went wrong.
Well...he's still young enought to forget that foolishness and concentrate on the important things...like benching.

thanks Guys ( Michael says dankeshirn also )

I would go out and show him how to drive a car now, but I am so pissed I think I'd just reverse into my wifes car a few times before giving up.

-3C CCW now that is cold for a room. When my AMD64 returns I shall have a bash at ctgilles 5800 record hopfully early Jan will have some cold days in blighty. The card came clocked at 400/800 but it is running 500/1050 with stock everything.

You can see me on the front page for 5800, but I have a low P4 Mhz so am struggling.

Regards

Andy

PS The Dudes comments made me laugh ( surprised he has forgiven me for my lack of understanding of Japanse mathematical poetry :) )

yea, i hardly know anyone around here that isn't a ms fanboy.. my mom, one of her friends and me are the only ones i know ... pff my dad is ms, so we can't watch f1 together... eheh

he's a good driver and all, even some of his comments are cool, but i don't like him anyway.. same for his dumbo brother (hardly as good a driver)

Same here :D
Problem is I really don't agree with you that he's such a good driver...
The little stunt he pulled on Jaques Villeneuve is one of his carreer depths and I still remember that, so low...
2 seasons ago, he won because of a superior car, and well, last season was quite exciting, but still, it could do better :D

to be honest.. i'm kinda undecided on his driving skills. do you even remember the stunt he pulled with damon hill - got him one of his first championships - back then with a benetton, i believe. iirc it was in australia, back when they were still using the old circuit.
anyway i think he's a good driver - especially in the rain - but what most people don't usually see is that he has the best of the best of toys to play with. put alonso in that car and see how well he does after getting used to that hitech piece (check rubinho for a comparison in performance :D - pre ferrari and now...).

the thing that pisses me off with schumacher is that he's kinda like a machine, no passion or what. that's what i've always loved senna, even hakkinen and - of course - alesi for. alesi with a car gone bad would throw is helmet around, barf at people or wot.. schumacher goes "yea bad day, so... next". reasonably speaken that is probably the better way to deal with situations like that (i think), but its boring nonetheless. anyone remember senna punching barichello in the face after he blocked him?
another point about schumacher is the way he deals with his opponents. things like that "accident" with hill or villeneuve or whoever "just happened, their fault". it's mostly them, not him - according to him anyway. but then again i'm not neutral :) so who am i to judge?

and what really gets to me is all those beer-bellied fans of his now waving the ferrari flag and all that. those -censored- ;) wouldn't give a fxxx about ferrari once HE swapps teams, they are his fans, nothing else - although on the tele they don't say it like that.. anyway frentzen used to be the better driver since their group-c days, but frentzen always grabbed the crap cars - speak about tough luck hehe

@ragnarok
i wasn't a big senna fan when he was around, but i always had a very high opinion of him. very tough, very competitive and all that. - i've been in imola the week after that race... hard to forget the sights. seeing his fans gathered there and all..
i don't believe there's a lot of true loyal ms fans out there like that. they'll move on with the blink of an eye - just as he probably would.

ehhh got caried away :)... anyway, guess it shows i used to be ferrari for a long time and anti-schumacher right from the start :D

Many people hate schummacher because of his attitude, he has no fair play and winning is what matters. I think he has fallen into the star system. However he still has some mad skillz while driving, he sometime pull you a trick and you're amazed (like the one you talked about sky).
It's been a while i haven't seen a race, however i remember the good old fight of senna vs prost, they had some mad skillz and it was so nice to watch them drive.
The race i remember the most is one in monaco, there was senna and another one, i think english (who then raced for nascar) and the guy was so exhausted by the fight that he couldn't walk after, he had to be lifted to the podium. That was a mad race, too bad i can't remember the name of the guy

i think it was nigel mansell that you're talking about.. monaco years back.
yeah mansell was cool.. i remember him overtake someone on the grass! in either hungary or spa... crazy §§§§. i mean cross country with a f1 car...
what f1 lacks today is real characters. most guys in f1 seem like kids with biggie toys today. and you could replace most of them with any other driver and it probably wouldn't make much of a difference to the audience anyway.

oh another mansell goodie.. when he was the sure winner on his last lap with a good distance to the 2nd place driver.. he started waving and while doing that hit the "kill engine" switch and off he was... or when he tried pushing his car over the finish line because he ran out of fuel... ahhh memories :D

or when senna shot prost of the track to become worldchampion - next year it was the other way round..

/edited some typos.. gee i hate them

I still love what Mika did with gaylord Shumacher in Francorchamps, with 3 on the road :D LOL :)
Spa Francorchamps is imo the most beautiful circuit...
