I may be mistaken but I believe weeks prior to 339 are unlocked, yours is a 332, so it should be unlocked. I'm sure someone else can confirm this.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. Please someone come and verify! I really lucked out if it is, I got this at my local computer store (I was to impatient lol). I got a retail version cause they had no oems, and I didnt expect to get an unlocked one but I might have. Is this for sure unlocked though?

I think the 0332 would indicate that it is a week 32 cpu.

Well I went in and it gives me the option of changing it between 5-22 multiplier. I havent tried to set it to a different one, but does that mean it is unlocked?

No, that does not mean it's unlocked, because BIOS allows multi changing even with the locked chips - it's just that it doesn't actually take effect. :) But yes, your chip is unlocked beyond any doubt (since it's week 332). Get clocking!:toast:

SWEET! Thank you very much xDUCK! I pushed it up to 195x11 and it froze on prime and 3dmark 01 so I pumped up my memory voltage and am going to try it some more. Once my crap memory cant go any higher Ill start pushing the multi!

You may even push your board beyond it's limits before your memory.

Yeah I know Im worried about that, but Im getting new memory tomorrow and a powercolor 9800se. I heard the powercolors have a high rate of succesful softmods. Anyways Im kind of mad, because I set the multi to 12 and it stays at 11. I dont know how it could be locked though it is a week 32????

higher multis arent unlocked i dont believe. Its the lower multis you want so you can achieve a higher bus speed

It should still be used, ABIT uses 5bit multiplires which allows them to go beyond 12.5x, on average boards @ 12.5x = 6x. On the plus side i can tell you 2.2GHz 11x200 is 99% of it doing it should do it with defualt voltage too. I managed to get mine running at 2270MHz (227x10) at defualt voltage :) not sure what stepping/week it is can't be bothered to remove the Volcano 7+ which means remove the board from case. 47C idle 53C load with a Volcano 7+ in silent mode, 3000rpm 24Dba.
