Ok, I think your asking if you should bother with specifically getting memory branded with Dual Channel ready, I honestly have my doubts they match memory modules much beyond seeing they are same production runs, If anyone actually does it I'd bet its not very intensive testing. However If the cost is minimal I would probably pay the few extra bucks..
If I assumed incorrectly please clarify your questions.

Well they are only guaranteed to meet manufacturers specs, single sticks or twinpack. Any thing over specs is a bonus. Since its all about maximizong your chances to get the better sticks I would say go for the twinpacks.
