I'm thinking of buying a new rig, so can u guys tell me anythiing i should change or something, i'm proably going to do alot of ocing... sorry if this post is somewere else on the site.

Case: Turbo gamer x-dreamer

CPU: P4 2.6 HT

Mobo: ASUS P4P800 dlx

Memory: PC 3500 Kingston Hyper x 512 dual channel

Hard Drive: Seagate serial ata 80GB

Video Card: Radeon 9800 pro

DVD: LG 16x DVD Rom, 48x CD-Rom

Fan: Vantec Tornado 92mm 4800 rpm

Looks good just make sure the memory you buy is BH5 otherwise you will very likely be stuck in the 250-255fsb range, its a known issue with CH5.

Well, some are Bh-5 and some aren't. I think your is going to be Ch-5.

If you have a bit of extra money I'd suggest going with an A64, but if you're strapped for cash it'll be a nice setup.

without phsically pulling the heatspreaders you can only go by performance, or advertised specs.

that's a great setup m8. i currently have a 2.4b 533fsb chip and i think this is good enough for most games, however i think a 3.2 HT 800fsb chip is needed for serious mpeg4 , video encoding and divx apps.

but if i'm on a budget of $1500 i cant really go with the 3.2

i second that motion, make sure you get BH-5, and you will have a great system
