1600+ Thoroughbred

I'm talking w/ a guy right now about getting a 1600+ Tbred off of him for $75. He said aircooled right now it's running 1733mhz @ 1.75v. Buying it to see how much of a percentage-wise overclock I can juice out of it :) Probably sell it afterwards :P When/If I get it I'll post pics and whatnot.

It's idle, with an ax-7 and sunon 80mm 39cfm fan.

I consider it pretty impressive considering what my freaking 2200+ runs at.. 8000000C or so.

I am not sure of it's ture origin... but I got it off of a guy on hardforum. I think he got it off of someone who got it on the Japanese market. I could be wrong though.

btw, this processor needed no modifications. It was stock unlocked and the L3 look totally different than the 2200+. So, thanks AMD!

Ok this Tbred is quite strange. I feel it's going to own once I put some better cooling on.

The status is this... I can load it down with voltage (1.95v) or I can put it low (1.75v) but I still only get to around 1.83-1.85ghz stable. Now I've gotten into windows @ 1875 but it wasn't that stable.

What I'm running at right now, under full load for about 15minutes is:

This little AROIA Palomino of mine will run 3D @ 1900 np's on air(AX-7 w/ Vantec Tornado) but it does take 2.1v w/ the G4 in, 2.0v w/ a G2. Load temps in the high 50's......

Alright, update time!

I don't have a 2nd psu available to me so I couldn't run my 226w peltier on the tbred, but, I do have a maze3 which I put on it along w/ some very chilly water.

Imma get straight to the point and just show you 2 screen shots. The first one is my stable 100% workable speed of 2003mhz. Note the temp and the voltage. Pretty decent. I am hoping to get 2200 out of this chip w/ my pelt. I ran 3d at this speed and now I'm the #4 AMD + 4200. (http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4431149)

I also am noticing that my +5 is running low as right now I'm using my weak 300w enermax. I have to take my 550w enermax out of my case and then I can run the pelt. The +5 on that is usually around 5.10 so that may help get it stable as well. I should be able to do this tonight as well--I'm not home right now, but will be in an hour or so. Then I'll get to it. :)

Woops I just noticed that actually I am #4... I only had the cpu to 2100mhz and lower but someone benched @ 2123. So yeah, #4. But not by the end of tonight! #3, #2 maybe here I come :P
