It says it can supply 16A input, so somewhere around 1700watts from a US wall outlet? Did I understand that correctly?

I was thinking, could you install this, and then put a small powerstrip in your PC and run stuff to your pump/TEC powersupply/anything from that then?

indeed. but you need to cut up the power strip cable to connect some of the terminals.

i personally just bought a dual power switch from digikey. I have it hooked up to my pump and ATX PSU. The green wire goes to the switch, and I hook a black from the PSU up to the other terminal. Then turn the power switch on the back of the PSU and voila. I have a 60$ 34A 12V PSU. Then, I take the pump cable, slice it up. Connect the green to green. White too white, and connect the black to the switch. And the other black to the switch. Now my PSU PELTIER and pump all start at the flip of a switch. So i hit my power button, and flip a switch and everthing starts up.:toast:

Yea sandman , I am running my waterpump and meanwell off of the same relay and works great... I don't have a powerstrip but cut the wires for the pump and tied them together with the meanwell power wires...

I also have a delay timer that delays the startup of my system for about 20 seconds giving me a time to cool the cpu before boot...you can change the amount of delay from 1 sec to hours if you desire...
