how long are you suppose to deep fry chicken?

for all that I can cook, I have never deep fried something...

so not only do I have little idea of how to, I have no idea of when it's done.
I gotta take a crash course on this later tonight, and thats the one thing I can't seem to get an answer for online at cooking sites.

maybe someone here knows how to deep fry chicken, haha :D

When i used the deep fryer at mcd's ... back in the day.

I'd say no more than 7 minutes for a frozen chicked breast to cook fully.

Fried until it floats and turns a deep golden brown. Best if it's not frozen.

You can always take out the most plump piece and open it up to the middle with a knife - if the juices run clean and not bloody it's done.

Till it floats and at least 6 minutes i go for, unless you have some monster, steroid chicken breasts!!!!

Never tried to deepfry frozen chicken breast, i thing the guy above was talking about patties or something.

make sure you remove the IHS if your using a P4 to fry, youll want the heat to transfer directly into the oil, that heatspredder will slow down your heat conduction
