bad news

"A Little Babblefish Told Me that AMD plans to start shipping 2400+ and 2600+ in a few weeks. That's good. They'll run at 166MHz FSB. That's good, too.

They'll celebrate going to 166MHz FSB by adding a couple hundred PR points to the total. That's not so good.

So you'll will likely have something like this:

2200+ = 1.8GHz/133MHz FSB
2400+ = 1.833GHz/166MHz FSB
2600+ = 1.917GHz/166MHz FSB"

the cpu at 2485mhz is probably a new tbred with a prometeia

Hmmmz....

Still, I'd prefer a XP2400+ to be a 1.833Ghz @ 166FSB than a 2Ghz @133FSB.

No way hosay!!

I'll take that 2Ghz any time. Screw stock fsb's, that's good for noobs.

T-breds are stock unlocked, so drop the mutiplier + raise fsb without any glitches. Running nice and cool at 2ghz stock with kickass fsb. vs a 1833mhz cpu!!
