I'm going to give DI a try next week and I know some but is there anything special I should keep in mind that you guys with more experience have already learned? I'm going to use same container as gabbax shows in this thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24826

Ok, that's about what I know :) Guess I'll have to learn as I go :D
Ethanol have very low freezing point and is used to give the DI better surface contact with the DI container. The DI simply cooles the ethanol down to make it some kind of liquide cooling ;)

The Dry Ice will have insufficient surface area in contact with the walls of the container, so we add a liquid that will transfer heat (cool) to the walls evenly. Try about 3cm Ethanol, and fill tube 1/2 full of DI chips.
