My best m8 is getting a PC from me for christmass, made up of my old crap.
Spec turned out to be quite good.
8rda+
Duron clocked at 2.1gig (175fsb)
GF2Mx400
2x128mb PC-2700 crucial (@ 2,3,3,11x175)
The 3dcard limits the 3dmark score to 4000, but its not bad.
I do have a spare 9800AIW but hes not getting that :P
Good luck with the 2.6C

My brother should be happy.. Just got him a MSI K7N2-L, 2100+ DUT3C T-Bred B and 52x combo drive. :) (replacing the K7S5A and Athy 850)
My sister and her fiance will be very happy :)
I'm giving them a system I'v thrown together for next to nothing.
-Abit BH7 (or some decent cheap board)
-P4 1.7ghz
-256mb of Mushkin Hi-Performance Cas2
-20gig Western Digital
-12x Imation Cd-Rw drive
-Aopen GF2 Mx400 (ghetto modded with big hsf :))
Not a bad lil system, does 2070 3D01 marks at 1.87ghz on the chip and 230/197 gpu.

Holst, for the card to do 4k, is it stock, or overclocked?
(if so, what are the clocks on it?)
