well the 3.10's didn't help me at all. they said they fixed the texture corruption in madden 2004 but its still there. guess i'll have to wait till 4.0 cats come out.

ThanX. :)
Whoa! d/ling @ 464KB\sec ... nice server. :worship:
While this Cat 3.10 WHQL is 98% the same as the 3.9 COD hotfix + WHQL i feel that the next set will be a good one [ talking about the first set to be released in 2004 here ]. On the games i play only found one problem so far. Couple very good bugfixes in those.
Btw, guessing you didnt check out the multimedia irc chat yesterday but there Terry 'CatalystMaker' Makedon stated that they are expecting a performance boost in 3D-performance either in 4.1 or 4.2 set. Meaning they must have found something but he doesnt know what set it will be introduced.

I have no texture corruption in Madden2004 with 3.9 or 3.10.

in other words they are going to magically find some extra speed just as HL2 comes out. amazing coincidence that will be.

I posted this in another 3.10 thread...When I install new drivers I like to test older games first...like benchmarking Q3...when I installed the 3.10's the first thing I tried was Q3...instant error...reinstalled Q3...same thing...read about some people having install problems...so I reinstalled the 3.10's...and then reinstalled Q3 just incase...still a error on start up...left Q3 as it was...uninstalled the 3.10's and reinstalled the 3.9 omega drivers...fired up Q3...worked without any problems...
My Q is...has anyone else tried Q3...and if so...was Q3 able to run?

well LMFAO yesterday i installed these without knowing they were the 3.10's...didnt eeven look at the driver name...simply went"wierd that score is like 500points higher than my last install of windows"
i dont understand the name though...it should have been the 3.95's or 4.0's(even though the 4.0's will prolly be a big release or something) not 3.10's, b/c to nubs that can mean 3.1.

what do noobs need with good drivers anyway then? ;)
if they cant tell the difference between three point one, and three point ten, then bah i say. :p
and, there might be a 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14, so, instead of 3.95, 3.975, 3.9875, 3.99375 etc etc. ;)
although, i would think there would be a 4.0 before it gets to that, but i think its more of a "just in case" thing. ;)

coders use this system of naming... much much easier, cause if you dont want a 4.0 out yet, you just keep going until you feel like it.

Well I gave them a spin around the block and didn't like the way she handled. I lost 500+ points on a 474/392 OC and 400+ points with no OC. If I enabled the overdrive I couldn't even complete a run.
I'm sticking with the cat 3.7's until they make some thats going to burn some more rubber on my system.
I havn't run into any problems with 1942 or any other games yet.

meh, good for the older cards then. h*ll... im almost at +200 points with them and a slight OC. ;) cept the OC is worth nothing... as t-birds scale as well as a pile of crap... (which sometimes i think they are...)

I never had that problem in BF1942 with my 9800 pro using the last 5 diff drivers. Its gotta be your hardware maybe.
There was a 1942 bug in the drivers but you might have missed it if you used Omegas, since he's mixin the driver files and he was using one leaked oem file that didnt have that problem.
The naming is because you will see 4.x set in 2004... Currently ATI is scheduled to release 12 drivers / year so ... 3.10 was a must.
