View Full Version : Prometeia Control Center - no go! :(

hi there.
finally my mach2 arrived this afternoon. but just got the first problem.
tried installing the control center, but everytime it said "usb connection failed"
the usb cable is mounted correct and i already upgraded to ver. 1.22
even tried upgrading the firmware but at bootload.exe, there no prommy! :(
anyone got suggestions to solve this problem!

Could be a problem with your interrupts. Had it too over here. The Control Center tried to use the same IRQ as one of my COM ports.
Disabling it solved the problem for me :D

is the "prometeia" device present in device manager?

forgot to mention that my os gave me bsod's when installing the "windriver" .
"chip con" is listed in device manager. there the entries are "prometeia" and "windriver".
wtf, the windriver isn't present at all after some reboots. got it running after some attempts!
could there be some problem with my nf7-s? :confused:

Nothing wrong with your mobo...i have the same prob with a asus p4c800....i also need to try it a few times before he finds it.

install the driver for first dude, then PCC will work
I forgot to do that last time and had me puzzled why PCC didnt work..

which driver should i install first? :) the driver for..... ? first the windrv6.inf, then prometeia?
