Just use it for a month, take it out, run all the pelts you can find, then ask him which he wants?

As the temperature drops, the compressor's capacity drops, and the power consumption drops. Once it gets down to low temperatures, it is only using a small fraction of the power that an A/C normally uses.

I stay around -18C to -19C liquid so after it gets there the cost drops?

Well can I get a better answer? My dad isint very happy right now :|
And if I went with a TEC setup he woulda been like "ok" than when the electrical bill comes "WHAT THE **** IS THIS?" But no this is a window airconditioner and people says they cost alot to run so he completely ignores the fact that I'm chilling water not constantly hot air and I just had to turn the thing off so he would stop complaining :|

If you have a 5200 btu airconditioner And I am assuming it is acouple years old so I think it is an 8 SEER (seasonal Energy eff. ratio) SEER = BTU/WATT so 8=5200/w or W=5200/8 which is 650 watts if it was used as an air conditioner, when we use these as chillers the current is usually lower if you don't modify the evaporator and expansion device.
So if you use your computer 10 hrs a day 30 days a month 500watts for the computers internals, 650w for cooling , 150w for monitor and a price per KW of 8.8 cents /kw That would be $34.32 per 30 day month. If you use it less it will cost less.
My power bill in the summer is $385 to 425 ,,, I am in Las Vegas and I like to keep my house cool..... 68 to 70F I also have a 100m/s network and three computers running 24/7
