Hello everyone,
I will be getting my new mobo tomorrow or saturday. It will be an nf7-s with a 1.6ghz duron (MIXHB). I was wondering however, how good the aero 7+ would be on here. I was lazy and bought it at a local store. I wanted to get a thermalright with tornado or smartfan, but no one in my city sells them. I am thinking about getting an slk 9XX with a tornado i already have (80mm). What difference will i see? I have heard that the aero 7+s are pretty good though. Im wondering what the temps with it will be? And what the difference in oc might be with this and an slk9XX with 80mm tornado?
Thanks

This is with the squirrel cage fan? Not very good at all I am afraid. Slk900 would be a huge step up.

hmmm Well i wouldnt call it a squirrel cage fan. I think i would call it a mouse wheel, but just difference in opinoin haha. Anyways i guess ill go ahead and get an slk 900. However i probably wont be able to get it for like a week. My comp will be up and running tomorrow, so could you tell me my temp difference in the meantime?

Nobody can tell you the temp difference..But there will be much improvement. You'll need a good fan along with that slk900. I use a Vantec Tornado..which is as loud as it gets so..so put it on a fan controller ---- Vantec Nexus

Thanks for the input drisler. I have the aero7+ on it right now and the temps are ok but id like to see them lower so i think im going to order an slk900 or 947 next week.

Jrocket,

What are your temps with the aero 7+.
I had one before I got my watercooling setup and my temps suc*ed. 52 degrees was the norm. but then again I hate the NF7 under die thermistor. I think it is very unreliable ( for me at least)

the aero7+ is ok if you can move alot of air around it. the stock fan does very little and i run at about 42-44C normally at 2.2ghz, 1.7v. with alot of air moving though, i can run 2.4ghz, 2.1v at about 46C.
