Halloy,
Recived my board some days ago and finally put it together.
The problem I run into atfirst was when trying to install win2k.
The problem: It says in the beginning of the installation that u should press F6 if whanting to install drivers for sata raid arays or something like that. Doing so u later on have to insert the Silicon Image 3114 disk that follows with the motherboard. When it loads it take a while and then says again. "Insert the floppydisk deliverd of the manufakturemaker".
And it continues like this... It whont find the damn drivers...

Is the the bios fault or dosn't it work with win2k???

Thanks in advance

Edit: I've downloaded the latest version of Silicon Image Sata Raid driver. Its the same as the one that follows the moterboard.
But it still dosn't work...

It sounds to me like its not detecting your floppy drive correctly.

Take a look at your floppy drive when the computer is booted, is the light on the front of the floppy on all the time? If it is then u need to reverse the connector, easy mistake to make seeing that diff models of floppy want connector in diff position. If the light is on permanently and your connector has plastic bit which wont let u put it on another way then you are gonna have to cut the plastic bit on connector. I had to do this to mine to connect it to my sony floppy drive.

If the light inst permanantly on i would suggest that when it goes through the motion of asking you to place floppy in drive again to just remove the floppy and then 'slam' it back in and then try. This has worked for me on a few occasions :D.

Post back your results

Well after trying out ur recomendations it were another problem but while loading the driver, glad it worked that far...
It said "TxtSetup.oem" read problems... So i took a look in the disk at the files, and of some reason I removed the Readme file.
After that if worked. Really strange if u ask me ;)
