Hello folks,
I've been going over thease forums for about a month now and I've built an efective chiller. Problem is my bios temp readings range from 0 to around 100c. When I chill down to below 0 it starts at the top of the scale again and thinks I'm at the shutdown temp. My bios doesn't have the disable option. I can boot to windows but cant access bios to tweek around. I love you guys and know you can help thanks.

if it uses the in socket diode you could always remove it.

I have the same prob with my Abit, I just boot up before it reaches -0C and it works OK, if I have to restart when its colder than -0c it always starts at 12C.

I put my own thermal sensor between waterblock and CPU so at least I have some security my CPU is cold.

call chaintech, if they dont seem to care about the problem tell them you need a RMA number.

yea, no diode to remove. I think I'll keep the board and work around it . Just wanted to tweek it when @ my max low temps might find a desktop utility for that. thanks for the input guys
