Hello,

I have bought Gigabyte x58 UD3R rev 1.6 motherboard and I have noticed quite huge vdrop. Here you can see my linx tests and any advice would be more than appreciated.

First one is during the linx vcore is 1.28v and after that it's 1.328v. Note that i have set 1.35v in BIOS and LLC was turned OFF. With turned ON there is no much big differences since i have noticed huge vdrop again atm.

Would like to know if there is any chance to run maybe even 4.2ghz with HT as my TRUE BLACK and P12 is giving me some nice sub 80c for linx.

Thank everyone for looking this thread and giving any hope to run this D0 at nice speed.

If you need any details I will provide you more as well.

QPI is 1.29v

Benny thank you really much for this initial reply. I think this board have a really nice "future" but this v-mod would be more than great full, as this is a one of the best budget x58 boards.

Looking forward to your reply. Once again, thank you for helping loads of people here.

so what was wrong in enabling load line calibration which solves that problem on the rev 1.6 board?

It does not equal vcore under the load either idle. For instance if I enable LLC situation is next

bios - 1.35
idle - 1.31
linx 100% - 1.29

But if this is ok, than I am having different issue here !?
