So i finally made the first prototype of my system. Rite now its based on R12 but i`ll refill it with R22 in a few days. Compressor is a german R134 Unit 110Watt power. Condenser with a 8 mm pipe inner diameter. The system gave me -39 with no load. Haven`t tested it on any heater yet. I think i`ll swap to R22 today because everything is just warm and a condenser is oversized.

very nice indeed...keep us posted.....

althou you will lose alot under a load..it is nice to see those cold temps...

great job:D

Good job. Have you figured out a mounting mechanism yet?

Calibrated the system today. Here are the photos:

http://laik.modlabs.net/phasechange/mk1/mk1-12.jpg - System and calibration stand off

http://laik.modlabs.net/phasechange/mk1/mk1-13.jpg - Overall photo

http://laik.modlabs.net/phasechange/mk1/mk1-14.jpg - Fast insulation

http://laik.modlabs.net/phasechange/mk1/mk1-15.jpg - Test shows -14 @ 70 watt load.

Not too bad for a R12 system. This one will work for my vid card. I guess I`ll build a second system on R22 in a few days on a 200 watt compressor for a cpu.

Dont tell me you clamped it to the board with a plastic bag over it...

Looks nice but is that a metal non flex suction line?

Great Job and very impressive! :toast: Keep posting your project! :)

afireinside, i really isolated it with a plastic bad for the first time.
The suction line is really a metal non-flex one right now.
