i have a kt133a chipset based motherboard, the msi K7T turbo, to be exact, which is a ms-6330.
i cant find that motherboard in the clockgen list of supported motherboards.
am i out of luck, or is there another program i can use?
i looked for softFSB, got it, and it doesnt have an option for the ms-6330 either... :(
i have a distinct feeling i could get my fsb higher if i had the option from windows... but, i cant find any programs to do that with...
d*mn this infernal motherboard in all its bugginess... :stick:

just pick the one is the closer of your mobo tech and it will probably work ;)
Do you have a PLL205-01 or PLL205-03 pll chip on your board? If so, http://www.maximumoc.com/files/setfsb/setfsb14a_kt7a.zip should work for you.

where is the pll chip located? what would it be near, and what does it look like?
on your board, its a small black chip located just below and to the right of the AGP slot, directly above the south bridge and it has a little silver colored 14.318mhz crystal right next to it on the left side.

and it will say PLL20X-XX on it?
Hopefully.. or you could just try the setfsb program I linked to and see if it works :P

erm... it runs, but when i hit "get fsb" i get this error::confused:
Hmm, my guess would be that your PLL chip isnt supported. If you can tell me what the markings on it are I'll see if I cant find something which supports it.

if you could, download the attachment, and edit it showing what you need the numbers off of please.
that black thing an inch or two(in the picture) to the right of the fan says PLL nowhere on it, as thats the only thing that fits the general description of what you speak of...
A little searching turned up this: http://home.pages.at/gigatron/downloads/setfsb/setfsbU14c_7zxr.zip
its supposed to be for the K7T Turbo-R and K7T Turbo2, but its worth a shot.
Yeah thats the PLL (the black thing), never seen one which says PLL on it.. It appears to be a ICS but I cant make out the numbers/letters on it.

h*ll... the letters/numbers are so small i cant even make out some of them... heres what i can get though:
U?020364B
0050
94220AF
and the ? is either a K or an X :(
ICS dont appear to make either a UK020364B or a UX020364B so something else must be wrong too. Magnifying glass? :D
Might save you some trouble just to try that setfsb though, if it works :X

nope, that last one froze up my system... :p
and its deffinately UK020364B...
When you changed the frequency, or when you hit get fsb? Or just when you ran it? :P

when i changed the frequency... i changed it 1mhz though...
Try playing with it a bit.. try 1mhz down rather than 1mhz up.. or try slightly larger jumps? The fact it recognizes the fsb is a good sign I think :\

substancial evidence dictates that that version of setfsb does not work for me... :p:
Hahaha ok ok, I guess try and figure out what that chip says on it because I dont seem to be able to find anything other than that for the K7T :/

the first line is: UK020364B
i did look under a magnifying glass... ;)
I cant even find a mention of it on ICS's website or anywhere else.. :| Without a datasheet you couldnt even build a turboPLL :\
