Well I turned it on, took forever to detect IDE drives again and than it froze. I went into BIOS and saw 2C CPU instead of like 10 and it didnt shut down so I fixed that. Well than I save and exit and go to boot and it freezes. As I go to shut the rig off it changed to the next thing with the SATA. A bit later it updates the DMI pool or something than pops up something like:
"SYSTEM BOOT FAILURE. PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK"
At that point I didnt know if I should be sad or just get pissed off and throw the whole damn thing out the window. Well lets just saw I'm mighty pissed but my rig is in one piece ;)
I didnt disable APIC in the BIOS though but I did when I installed windows. Could that be causing it? Does it have anything to do with my HDD being on wood? It sounds normal...
