See, I have been reading all the HyperX threads and found out that i need a stick or two but I still got a few questions:

Should i get KHX3000 or KHX3200-non a, because I guess that that both are with BH-5? I can only feed them with 3v max!, on my NF7..

Should i go for 2*256 or 1*512?

And what code should be labeled at the heatspreader?

Marry Christmas everyone... And may santa hook you up with a lot of new hardware!!:toast:

2.7v I haven't even had the time to try and go higher yet. I do know that with 2.6v Windows wouldn't even load :(

Looking at your first post again, I see all of your questions- I'd personally go for 2 sticks, and I'm not sure if either the 3000 or 3200 will make a difference in the long run. For what it's worth, I've got A00 (supposedly CH5) on my heatspreaders, running at the timings below. I don't know what's right or wrong!!

Hi guys,

I've found a guy selling a stick with the following code :

KHX3500/512
9905193-025.A00
1237079 - 2.5v

Bought 6 months ago.

The ones currently selling in the stores are roughly the same, except its 2.6v

What are the chances of his being BH5?

Cheers,
DracZ

There's a chance both ways. It seems pretty early to the introduction, which increases the chance it's BH-5, but still late enough out there that it could be CH-5.

http://www.metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=0&path=reviews/hyperx_pc3500/index_eng might help you some make your decision, but doesn't offer much.

I'm not sure that .A00 has any chance of being CH5.

My 3200 .A02 is BH5 bought a month ago.

Thought that might be the case...unfortunately they dont sell the 3200 HyperX here, that range is covered by the Kingston valueram cas2.5 stuff, which is definately CH5. Which isn't bad unto its on right, have a gig of the stuff doing 220, 2-3-2-11 on my NF7-S, but theres always that urge for something better :stick:

i used to have .A00 not sure what it was but i had two of them and they woudlnt do dual channel so i had to RMA for ch5 sticks :(

im pretty sure it was BH5 as i could run 2-2-2-5 as far as i can remember.
