Yeah WOW...Look Ma..... my $180 CPU outperforms a $1000 CPU overclocked vs overclocked Aircooled:D..... Stupid 16 multi:rolleyes:
be cool to have with a Prommie however..still would rather have a 14 Multi even for that though...:(
I wouldn't buy that chip if it were $150

LOL.....you have got to be kidding me....
I guarantee you if you put that in your rig, without changing anything, not even cooling, you would see a nice boost in performance.

it depends on the person.
give me a Xp 3200 and I'd be looking to sell it.

im not too fond of the p4ee due to its price mainly and the fact oppainter's 3GHz athlon FX owns fuggers p4e at nearly 50% higher clocks. I could build a 20k mark rig for the price of one of those ee chips or get an athlon 64 xp3200, mobo and ram for a grand

a 20k PC is nothing these days.
I can do that at stock when slowing my ram down.
25k is what 20k was 6 months ago.

20k isnt that hard unless you got a ti4200 or something. a stock xp3200 and 9800 pro could probably pull 20k :D 25k now thats quite a challenge, especially air cooled

Whoooaaa, whats that price in aussie dollers?
That would pull 20k easy with a decent vid card.

What I'd like to know is how long the P4 EE is foing to be around and also if the price is going to decay, or not ?

Umm... my 9800np overclocked past pro levels, with a 228fsb and a 11 multi (athlon) got about 19800 points. So, a 3200 and a 9800 pro are supposed to get what?

on the abit kv8 max 3, bh5 chips running 2,2,2,5 3200+ ath 64 and 9800 pro, all completely stock got me 20,040 i think, though i only uploaded a 19,980 or something. tis sweet to be able to pull that stock. gotta do my vmods to the nf3 board i have to get decent fsb, and reinstall onto a ide drive ona 66Mhz capable raid controller and i should get 2.4Ghz, 240Mhz 1:1 at some point, plus this 9800 pro clocks well.should be good for going pretty far.
