Icons Messed Up?

I was messing with a file, and I changed the "Open With" to a different program and it made most of my computers icons have this file over it. Im just wondering how I can fix this.

1. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, click the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the File Types tab.
2. In the Registered file types list, click the file type you want to open with a different program, and then click Change.
3. In the Open With dialog box, select the program you want to use, and then click OK.
4. Click OK in the Folder Options dialog box.

I just what to reset it to the microsoft default. I think it said "windows shell command" but cannot find that. Its weird cause when I go to the programs folder their icons don't have anything over them. Please help, that ^^^ didnt do anything for me.

could just be a cache problem...

do a search and delete the file IconCache.db from your profile folder, and reboot.

TweakUI XP can also "repair icons".

I tried both ways. In command prompt and Just deleting it. And still didn't fix the icons.

Steps,

Step 1 = End Process "explorer.exe"

Step 2 = New Process "cmd.exe"

Step 3 = Type,
CD /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local

Step 4 = DEL IconCache.db

Step 5 = EXIT

Step 6 = New Process "explorer.exe"

First off on the last step they said to type DEL IconCache.db /a But that didn't do anything, so I tried it with out the /a and it worked but at the same time it said the file could not be found. But that's cause I manually deleted it. But my Icons are fixed ya!!!!!!!!
