All right, here's the story.
I had a NF7-S that maxed out at 233 @ 8,4,4,2 with my HyperX 3200. I decided to do the v-mod on it and end up killing the poor thing. :(
Got another one and nailed the mod. :) It went to 240 @ 8,4,4,2 @ 3.2v. But I wanted more and did the NB volt mod, too. But, when checking the voltage, I fried the NB. :( Another one down!
Now the frustration came, when I got another mobo, v-modded it and...couldn't even get to 240 @ 8,4,4,2, pumping 3.25v and, the poor NB @ 2.4v!! To my surprise even 210 wouldn't pass P95. I blamed the board and got rid of my AMD setup.
Got an Intel setup: IS7 + 2.4C. Loved it when it was in the box. Put everything together, just to find out that I couldn't run my BH-5 chips at 210+ @ 5,2,2,2. Damn thing! It's my freaking memory. It wasn't my AMD setup.
So only thing I could do was a v-mod to my IS7. Found it here, actualy for the IC7, but it works the same way. :) Also, I did the mod on my PSU's 3.3v rail. P95's been running for 2 hours @ edit: 245 (not 250) @ 8,2,2,2. :D Success...so far! But I have questions, of course. ;)
Is it normal to pump 3.5v to get that speed? And why in God's name I could get my 2.4 to 300 and now I can't even get 260 out of it?!
BTW, thank you for those who showed how to do the mods on the IS7 (IC7) and on the Truepower 430.
