for 100$ wow!! on my research i saw alot of problems in this board...but they say it,s all solved with the new bios
the only thing i want to be sure of
1.will my true fit over that NB heat sink
2. will it get my Q9450 to 3.8GHz or more?
coz if i had my cpu@ 3.8GHz who needs a core i7 :D i can throw two HD5870x2 CF on that 100$ board
:):):):):):)

I'm pretty sure you can even go higher on ya 965 mobo... 425FSB should be no problem either.... I wouldn't swap it for that MSI board...

MCH voltage you are talking about or only Vcore ? I've seen many get 450FSB with a P5B Dlx and quads... would be a bummer if ya Commando can't do that...

all voltages...tried every thing
maybe it,s my cpu wont go over 1600FBS....but i,ll need a board anyways in 2010 with the new graphics cards..maybe i,ll go with x48 for cross fire...or 750i for sli

dont get an NV chipset they die (if they are ddr2) and dont clock as well as the intel. try to get a dfi LT/UT with ddr2
also never get a board with more than 1 memory standard and never get an msi that dosnt have gd in the name

If you want to get the most out of your Quad, why not get a Gigabyte UD3P. They seem to be very popular on XS for a reason like when you bump the FSB up to 500 MHz. :)
$115 after rebates at Newegg is a good price and you could probably sell your old board on EBay and recover most of that cost.

Here's a good review over at Anandtech.

A couple of the new ATI cards in this board combined with your Quad would keep you going for a while.

exactly what unclewebb said
get the ur3p its ridiculous cheap and will clock a quad better than any board

The UD3R (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359) is $10 bucks cheaper and also works very well with Quads but doesn't support CrossFire or Dolby Home Theater.
The guys at XS don't talk about a board for 200 pages unless it's a good one. :)
