Hey all,
I'm just about to start on my TEC expedition with a waterchiller setup.
Just wanting too see all your pics of your setups and how you've gone about it ?
I'm uploading the sketches and stuff now of how I intend to do mine.
I'm starting off with 1x 226w TEC which will share a GPU/CPU block.

So, you're chilling the water with a TEC?
You'll also need a water setup to cool the hot side of the TEC.

Yeah I know all about hot/cold side loops.
Cathar started a massive thread on Chilled water setups on OCAU which I've been following for ages now.

I'll get those pics uploaded ASAP.

Pics of my old rig are there. Sometime in the new year, I will get it resurrected in a new and improved case.

Is that a CPU > TEC > Waterblock setup ? Or an actual watercooler ?

That's nice dude.
What's your ambient ?
And what amp does the 226w take ?
NitroRat

amb 20c
max amps at 15.2 volts is 24 I'm running at 13.4 volts so I'm probable pulling 20-21 amps

That depends on the voltage/amp of it ... have you ever thought to look it upself =)

The one usually used is the 320-12, and it can give up to 25A of somewhere between like 14 to like 11 Volts I think.
They are usually used at between 13-12V, that's the sweet spot for most 12V pelts.

2500 Barton running at 218 Mhz FSB (2507 Mhz) for the Summer season. 223 Mhz FSB (2565 Mhz) for Winter season.

How' s about some temps for that ...

CPU is sitting on 12 degrees C at the moment. (Still cooling down after a game of Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour).
This with System temp showing at 30 degrees C.
CPU gets up to around 18 degrees C during / after a long game of Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour (under load).
Not too bad considering the CPU has a lot of voltage to it
(1.975 volts) and it is running overclocked (from stock speed of 1833 Mhz to current speed of 2507 Mhz).
System normally sits at around 8 degrees C in Windows XP not running anything much.
Very stable on 218 Mhz FSB in summer, and stable up to 223 Mhz FSB in Winter.
I use the USDM utility which came with the Epox 8RDA+ motherboard to monitor temps and voltages.

Nice man.
I'm trying to get my to get around ~5C for mine. Even a negative temp would be awsome.

once they warm up you can vary the supply from 9.2v all the way to high 15v.
one really hot day running prime95 got to 18v
at 15v the 226w pulls 21A's
at idle i set mine to 12v
then under load the voltage (trottles up) rises then goes back to normal when at idle
sweet physics is working for me :toast:

I would not use a peltier to cool the water
It's MUCH better to use sepparate peltiers for both GPU and CPU.
Take a BIG radiator and use a 226w peltier to cool the CPU (direct) and a 120w (24v @ dangerden.com) to cool the GPU :).
Temperatures (especially of the GPU) are MUCH better. On the gpu u could expect 0c temps :)

I found a good article on pelt psu's. I hear alot of hype about the meanwell, but the cost is considerable.
This (http://www.overclockers.com/tips1054/) may be a good alternative. And the satisfaction gained from doing it yourself would be tremendous!
with the meanwells you have to look around and buy one from a non overclocking site.
in australia they sell $180 at overclockers site.
i found a local electronics place and got it for $80 AUS which is like $60US
