I just did a new build with the X58 Classified MOBO w/ i7 cpu and etc. Got all drivers installed, updates done, computer is up and running and fresh hard drive running windows XP. I have the Corsair Core i7 Dominator 6GB PC15000 DDR3 RAM - Tri Channel, 1866MHz (3 x 2048MB) in my system but XP will only see under 3gb??? I checked in the main setup page in the Bios setup etc it is reading the full 6gb memory. Does this mean im only using half of it or windows just doesnt know what to do? What should i do to take full advantage of all of my RAM. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

u have a 32bit OS it can only see 4GB of memory (includign all cashe and gpu ram) without an addressing switch and XP dose not support that (and it would be slow for desktop use if it used one)
to get full use of your ram get a 64bit OS like windows7 (the best one ATM)

After getting all that hardware, why would you get XP ?
You need 64 bit OS, I would skip XP 64 bit, as despite a few avid proponents, MS and driver suppliers support it for crap. Get either Vista 64 bit or Win7 64 bit.

There is also no straight path to upgrade from 32biut to a 64bit O/S. You will have ti wipe your harddisk and install all your software again.
