iv got windows 7 x64bit and today i was using to vent to talk to my mates and my mates can hear me but i cant hear them and iv checked all my settings and dont know whats wrong could some one help please :up:

must be a driver issue if you are 100% sure you configured you settings correctly - using direct input and selected the device in the menu right?

i installed the drivers from the my sound card cd .. tho its not windows 7 drivers it installed vista drivers . got both setup for direct input and output as my sound card

dont use the drivers from the cd get them from the chipset maker, and be sure to run vent as admin and use the x86 version

Try going into the software for the sound card and find a section called headphone detection.Check off both automatically detect headphone settings and automatically mute speakers. I had the same problem except i could hear them but they couldn't hear me until I checked those off.

i got it working .. must of been a sound card driver issue ..
