MCW50-T 80w on 9800XT

Hey guys.

I'm having problems with my peltier setup. My 80w peltier is getting 12v and the water i ambient temp.

I cant seem to clock more than 412@480 on the core and my earlier 9800pro with same setup 380@480 on the core without mods.

Now when reading the forum all of ya gets much higher clocks (around 495-505) without mods and 80w peltier.

QUESTION: I'm using the neopren that came with the MCW50-T. Should I use som more? Does it help do isolate the back of the gpu better? Is better preventation against condensation = better temps`? Dont have a temp-reader so dont know my temps.

I would say that you might have just got a dud of a card, but I'm not real up to date on what 9800Xt's are doing.

It's making good contect? maybe a remount would help?

well now it havent worked probably on 2 cards........
Remounted it about 6-7 times. Used different Thermal Compound etc.
