pelt whitout the 4 holes?

can i have a pelt on the cpu whitout the 4 holes around it?
i wants to buy the swiftech block

You won't get as much contact pressure with a clip-on, but it should work.

Very difficult to get a mount that will work and let you insulate.

You cant use the swiftech blobk without the mounting holes.

Dangerden make a socket mounting block that may be TEC suitable... although ive never seen it done.

Think carefully before you go for a TEC setup, probably the single most dangerous cooling system you can go for as far as CPU killing goes IMO.

I would go with the swifty setup, the MCW500 with the pelt addon.

You're insulation should be precut this way, then you just put it on along with either some dielectric grease, or that dow corning stuff.
