View Full Version : Server 03 wont see ex.HDD

so I just couldnt take the royal pain that Vista is anymore & installed Server 2003 EE x86 on my lappie...
my 1TB ex.HDD doesnt show up in My Computer - tho it does show up in Disk Management
anyone know a fix?

how did u format it and dose it not have a mount point or drive letter, u have to manually set it for some of the server03 builds

format what?
the ex.HDD is NTFS & has ~600GB stuff on it
the sys HDD is NTFS as well

from vista u could have done fatEX (will not work in 03). and did u right clock on the partition and go to "change drive letter or paths" and give it a drive letter or mount point, it wont always do it with server03 for security purposes
